Here's my first Germany-themed t-shirt design of the week—it's based on the iconic two-headed German black eagle (reichsadler/bundesadler) that is used today on the German coat of arms. The central monogram is based on the ISO two-letter code for Germany—DE (short for Deutschland). 1815 is the year of the German Confederation. The words on the eagle's necks come from Germany's unofficial motto—they mean unity and freedom. Finally, the words on the wings come from a German proverb that translates to "he who rests grows rusty."

Phewf! That was a long explanation! What do you guys think? For you Germany experts out there—did I get anything wrong? Any glaring errors? Let me know on Instagram.
