What size t-shirt should I get?
Because our shirts have an athletic cut and fit, they tend to run a little smaller than the shirts that most people are used to. Please check our size charts to make sure the shirt you order will be a good fit.
What shirts do you print on?
Stately Type t-shirts are printed on the Next Level Premium CVC. Some are a blend of 60% combed ring-spun cotton and 40% polyester. A few are 100% cotton. Many are a super soft tri-blend - 50% polyester / 25% cotton / 25% rayon. (See each shirt's description.) The fabric is light (4.3 oz.), super soft, and breathable. For the unisex tees, the sleeves are a great fit—snug and not too short. The crewneck neck is nice and tight. Most of our shirts come tagless, with custom screen printed size tags.
Next Level's fabrics are produced in China and the USA. Their garments are assembled in China, Mexico, and Central America. Stately Type designs and screen prints the final product in the USA.
How do you print your t-shirts?
All of our shirts are screen printed using plastisol ink for bold, bright colors.
Do you print your own shirts?
Nope. We are product designers, not printers. We have partnered with a fantastic screen printer that handles all of our apparel printing.
How do I care for my t-shirt?
Machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low.

Where do you get your designs?
All of our products are designed by Stately Type founder, David Lesue. He hand-letters and/or draws each graphic, hand picks each garment style, selects each print's size and paper weight, and makes every product color choice. Except for the really good ones. His wife, Holly makes those.
How much does shipping cost?
For U.S. shipping, we charge:
- $3.00 on orders from $0-$19.99
- $5.00 on orders from $20.00-$50.00
- Free shipping on orders over $50
For international shipping, we charge:
- $15.00 on orders from $0-$74.99
- $20.00 on orders of $75.00 or more
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Standard shipping for orders in the US takes 5-10 business days. International orders usually take 3-5 weeks to arrive depending on the destination and customs processing. The tracking for international orders will not update once the package leaves the US, but the order is still on its way.
What shipping method do you use?
Standard shipping for orders in the United States are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. International orders are shipped via USPS First Class International Mail.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to almost every country around the world. Note: Orders shipped outside of the U.S. are subject to regular customs duties and fees levied by the destination country.
Refunds & Exchanges
What are your refund and exchange policies?
If you're not totally satisfied with your Stately Type purchase, send it back unworn and unwashed within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund or product exchange. Return the item (or items) by mailing it, a copy of the order packing slip or order confirmation email, and a note stating the new size or item desired to:

Once we receive your return, your new item(s) will be shipped out at no additional cost (or your refund will be issued).
- You must return the items within 30 days of the date you received your order.
- Your purchased items must be returned in their original condition—unworn and unwashed.
- We cannot guarantee all items and sizes will be in stock.
