I finished my 2x4 Quilt and brought it with me to Portland last week because #mvhavequiltwilltravel! 😁
One evening @statelytype and I hit up Blick Art Supplies when I spied this cool black and white wall and decided that I’d be back for a quilt pic. I finished binding it Friday night while binge watching the pre-Royal Wedding shows (which I’m still obsessed with, btw) and then got a quick pic on our way to the airport. 🙌💃🏻 So I think I’ll have even more love for this quilt (if that’s even possible) because of the association with the Royal Wedding it will carry for me! ♥️🇬🇧
P.S. Debbie at @hobblecreekquilting quilted this for me with wavy lines (a tried & true favorite of mine) and I love how it turned out!
P.P.S. Quilt pattern is a free tutorial from @filminthefridge which you can find on her blog! Highly recommended! 👍
P.P.P.S. I’m so happy I had the perfect backing on hand (that I’ve been saving for years)! It’s from @alexiamarcelleabegg’s Cotton + Steel line, Hatbox.
P.P.P.P.S. I’m obsessed with the Cotton + Steel basic, Add It Up. I used six different color variations of it in this quilt, including the binding! Like I said, I’m obsessed. 😍
