I’m so excited to share this quilt with you! My friend Vanessa of Lella Boutique asked me to be part of her Jelly Filled book tour. Jelly Filled is full of fun patterns and gorgeous quilts and I have an extra one to give away! (See details on my IG: @makervalley) When I saw this pattern, Marbled Cheesecake, I knew that was the one I had to make! If you know anything about me (and you might not if you’re new here) it’s that I LOVE scrappy quilts, so it was super fun to pull fabrics for this quilt! I paired a low volume (some which aren’t that “low”) with a colorful, saturated print for each block. I have a few favorite pairings that you can see.
Since my kids tend to grab quilts that have a soft & cozy backing, I used Fireside minky in aqua from @modafabrics for the back. Kaitlyn of @knotandthread quilted it with sashiko clamshells and I love how it turned out!
I also have a few custom 2.5” rolls (like a jelly roll) available in my shop in both low volume fabrics as well as a rainbow color palette! These will help you create a quilt that is similar to the one that I made.
